Hannah had her first show after taking riding lessons for about 6 weeks. She was so excited and didn't mind when they told her she would have to ride a different horse for the show. For lessons she usually rides Gus or Dakota, but for the show she would ride Chip. No problem for Hannah she was up for anything. I was definitely more nervous than she was.
Here is Hannah with Chip before the show. Angie is the girl beside Hannah and the one who stayed with her throughout the show, much to my relief!
Chip was a bit
feisty at first, but Hannah just held on. This is her leading him to the ring for the first class she was in for the show, Halter.

nd place and 1st place ribbons. She won them in that order. We all had a great day and really enjoyed watching all the kids.
The girls had a great time playing in the leaves on the sidewalk. We had a huge amount fall last weekend. They raked and scooped all afternoon, that is until Daddy got out the blower and cleaned them up. He was disappointed to see just as many fell again the next day. I guess Fall isn't over quite yet. Although the freezing temps we have had at night tell a different story!
