Hannah's 6th Mother's Day!
Allie's 4th Mother's Day!We had a wonderful Mother's Day, on Saturday. We celebrated Saturday because Travis had to work on Sunday. I slept the first part of the day after working Friday night. When I woke up, the house was clean and I had a present on the table (it was even wrapped, and not in the plastic bag from the store!).
The girls were very anxious for me to open it. And no wonder, it was an Ice Cream Maker. So after a trip to the store to retrieve the ingredients, we had delicious homemade ice cream. It was a great day.
On Sunday, it was just me and let me say I am so glad we had already celebrated Mother's Day. Sunday felt like Torture Mother Day! The girls both woke up a bit grumpy to say the least. After a very early bedtime for them and an exhausting day...
Which ended with a Boo Boo on Hannah's knee. You can only imagine the chain of events after the horrible Boo Boo she got, it turned out to be "the most painful Mother's Day ever" according to Hannah. I second that!
...I went to see Baby Mama with Christine and Tracey. It was really funny and we had a great time.
After, the wonderful weekend I am happy so say that I would rather have a bad day with my two angels then a good day without them.
Cheers to all the Mother's out there, past, present and future!
