Sisterly Love

Hannah and Allie really missed each other their first day of school. They could not stop hugging each other when we went to pick up Hannah. I thought this picture was so sweet.
The girls got their faces painted at the music festival downtown. Hannah had a blue horse painted on her cheek, so ofcourse Allie got the exact same picture. Hannah wanted to make sure Allie's hair was off the paint so her horse did not get "messed up" before I took the photo. She is such a good big sister, always looking out for Allie.

Horse Back Riding Lesson

The girls had a great first experience horse back riding. They were both very brave. Hannah rode a horse named Gus and was facinated by him because he only had one eye! Allie rode Dakota, and was a little more facinated with other parts of Dakota's anatomy which I won't get into.

First Day of School

Me with my girls. I had 2 hours of sleep this day after working all night. It was totally worth it, I did not want to miss any of the first day exitement.

The girls had their friends over for snacks and fun after school. I am so glad we didn't ride the bus, apparantely the bus routes were new and the kids did not get home until 4:30. We had fun waiting for all the kids to get home. Bridget, Addison and Ella were there early with us. We spent most of the time trying to keep the girls out of the cookies. What a great neighborhood we live in.

Fun before school starts

We went Letter Boxing with our friends Bridget, Addison and Ella. It was great fun, it's like a treasure hunt. You can go to the Atlas Quest website and find directions to these "treasure boxes" everywhere. Very cool. We ended the day at Pushaw Lake and Hannah and Addison enjoyed laying out in the sun!
